A practical guide to renting a car in Sidi Bennour, on the Doukkala plain. Which vehicle to choose, how to compare offers and what to check with the agency.
Sidi Bennour is an inland town at the heart of the Doukkala farming plain, in the Casablanca-Settat region. It is reached by road, notably from El Jadida, Casablanca or Safi. Car rental in Sidi Bennour then gives you the freedom to get around: head to the Atlantic coast, visit family in nearby villages or keep business appointments across the region.
Whether you are a tourist, a Moroccan living abroad home for the holidays, a business traveler or a local resident, this guide gathers the practical points to check before you sign a contract: which car to choose, how to compare offers, what to have the agency confirm, and how collection and return work.
RentalMe is a Moroccan marketplace that connects renters with professional rental agencies. The platform does not own any vehicles and does not offer private peer-to-peer rental: every offer comes from an agency, which sets its own price and conditions. For an overview of the area, also see our car rental guide for El Jadida, the main coastal town of the Doukkala.
The right category depends on three things: the number of passengers and bags, the type of roads (town streets, roads to the coast, rural tracks to the villages) and your budget.
| Category | Capacity | Suggested uses from Sidi Bennour | Advantages | Limitations |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| City car | 4 seats, small boot | Errands in town, short trips | Easy to handle and park | Limited boot, less comfortable on long drives |
| Compact | 4-5 seats, medium boot | Return trips to El Jadida, business travel | Good balance of comfort and price | Automatic gearbox not always available |
| Sedan | 5 seats, large boot | Longer drives to Casablanca or Safi, families with luggage | More comfort and space | Higher rate, less nimble in town |
| SUV | 5 seats, spacious boot | Rural roads, tracks to the villages | Higher ground clearance, good visibility | Higher rental cost and fuel use |
| Light van | 2-3 seats + cargo space | Moving house, carrying equipment | Large load capacity | Less pleasant to drive; check which licence the agency requires |
As a rough guide, a rental in Sidi Bennour costs between about 100 and 700 DH (dirhams) per day, depending on the vehicle category, the season, the agency and the offer you choose. This is neither a quote nor a guaranteed price: the exact rate is in the agency's written offer.
If the offers available locally do not suit your needs, it may be easier to look for an agency in El Jadida and then drive to Sidi Bennour.
Before booking, check these points in every offer:
Each agency sets its own rates and conditions: read them carefully before confirming.

Where can I collect the car if the agency is not in Sidi Bennour? Depending on the agency, it may be a meeting point in town, a delivery or a pick-up in a nearby town such as El Jadida. Have the location, time and any fees confirmed before booking.
